As the son of a career Naval officer and aviator, Tom spent his formative years on both coasts and few stops in-between. After graduate school, he started his career with Taft Broadcasting in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a turnaround expert, he was repeatedly tapped to lead troubled divisions and new acquisitions eventually ascending to President of Operations for Clear Channel in New York City responsible for all major operating divisions and strategic initiatives for the largest and most innovative radio, digital, and events company in the country. Tom currently serves as a consultant for investment firms and media operators both domestically and internationally specializing in media, marketing, organizational effectiveness, and finance.

Tom first connected with Spirit of America through an initiative in Ukraine and has since expanded his involvement to other aspects of marketing, strategic planning, and organizational development. “I feel exceedingly fortunate to have become associated with Spirit of America. Jim’s vision, the team he has assembled and the work they are doing around the world in difficult and dangerous situations is inspirational and I am thankful that they’ve provided me an opportunity to contribute,” Tom recently stated. Tom resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife of 36 years, Elizabeth. Tom joined Spirit of America’s Advisory Board in 2018.
