Help a US Army team improve children’s lives in South America

Dear supporters, I’m just back from a remote region of Guyana where a US Army team is working to improve lives and prevent conflict by improving education. In a country where crime and extremism are on the rise, the team identified a need to improve school conditions to keep at-risk children in the town of Corriverton away from gangs and extremist groups. Spirit of America responded to this need by donating backpacks, pencils, and books to kids who attend the community school. We partnered with a local nonprofit, FACT, to conduct the distribution of educational supplies. Here’s a peek into what the day was like:
Please help us support the children of this vulnerable community by donating now. Your gift, and this project, reflect the SoA model: small-scale, targeted assistance that can have major impact in support of US missions. Thank you for supporting a project that is dear to me. Until next time, Nicholette Doliva – Project Manager, Latin America
