In northern Guatemala, US Army soldiers teach local units lifesaving medical aid techniques for people injured by landmines near the Guatemala-Mexico border.
These units frequently encounter urgent medical emergencies requiring specific medical skills and supplies to treat properly.
Unfortunately, these units often do not have the training and equipment needed to assist, turning treatable injuries into life-threatening wounds.
Earlier this year, Spirit of America launched a new project to provide these small units with the critical equipment they require: medic bags, first aid kits, and more.
Because of our incredible supporters, we’ve raised over half of our goal for this important project. However, there is still more to be done before this project is fully funded.
Will you partner with us today to help meet this goal?
Your contribution will directly support the safety and success of US troops on the ground in Guatemala by ensuring their local partners are equipped with the most effective medical equipment and training.
$46 pays for one medic bag, while $200 pays for one kit containing various lifesaving medications. Please give today to ensure these troops are able to safely and successfully carry out their mission.
As always, thank you for your incredible support. It is because of generous donors like yourself that we are able to do the work we do.
