ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The U.S. Army Civil Affairs team working just south of Kabul at Camp Morehead reached out to Spirit of America to help supporting the Rish Khovor Dental Clinic. The Afghan clinic has a budget for 2016 but is in need of immediate help if it is going to keep its doors open this year. The soldier I spoke to told me that keeping the clinic up and running will directly support their safety and survivability. He went on to explain that, “maintaining positive relationships with the surrounding population ensures the safety of the remaining SOF soldiers still in Afghanistan for the next few years.”

The clinic serves 10 villages and sees more than 130 patients a month. Your contribution will keep this clinic open and allow the US soldiers serving in Kabul to maintain relationships with the villages and local population surrounding their base.

100% of your gift will be used to purchase what is needed for this project. Donations in excess of the project's needs will be offered a refund.
