Ryan Frost

Director of Field Operations

Ryan returned to Spirit of America in September 2018 to serve as its Director of Field Operations after 3 years at Goldman Sachs. He previously worked for the organization as its first dedicated Latin America project manager. During that time, in addition to laying the foundation for SoA’s Latin America portfolio, he developed key relationships for the organization within Special Operations Command and Special Operations Command-South. This included helping institutionalize Spirit of America within US Army Special Operations training.

Ryan began his career in the Army as an artilleryman, deploying to Iraq in 2006-2007 where he served in a security detail for Lt. General Francis Wiercinski, the deputy commanding general of Multinational Division North. Following his time in Iraq, he earned his Green Beret and transitioned to 20th Special Forces Group where he deployed to Honduras and Guyana. Ryan transitioned from Spirit of America to accept a rare opportunity to work for Goldman Sachs. During his time with the investment bank, he rose to the position of Vice President and managed 2 operations teams. Ryan earned his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
