Chris Grozev is managing director of development at Spirit of America, where he leads fundraising and community building efforts that support the organization’s rapid growth. He is responsible for donor acquisition, experience, stewardship, and retention.

Chris has over 10 years of development and fundraising experience in both the nonprofit and political campaign sectors. Before joining Spirit of America, he served as senior director of individual giving for the American Enterprise Institute. Prior to working in development, Chris spent a decade in the finance sector, first as an analyst in private equity and later in wealth management and financial planning.

Chris graduated from Iona University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing and is a certified specialist in planned giving and accredited asset management specialist.
