This role is ideal for an early-career attorney with at least three years of experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience in trade compliance, international operations, nonprofit governance, contracts, and risk management.
International Communications Program Manager – Africa
Spirit of America seeks an International Communications Program Manager – Africa to design and manage communications programs that help U.S. diplomats, troops, and trusted local partners advance key priorities across the continent. The role will help build international communications as a growing capability for Spirit of America’s impact and scale in Africa, including identifying and onboarding communications partners, supporting independent communicators, and managing strategic relationships with government and non-government stakeholders.
Senior Regional Program Manager – Latin America and the Caribbean
Spirit of America seeks an experienced manager to serve as a Senior Regional Program Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean to work in close cooperation and coordination with U.S. military, development, and diplomatic personnel across the region. The Senior Regional Program Manager’s mission is to design and manage Spirit of America’s programs and partnerships in Latin America and the Caribbean, utilizing private philanthropic funds to engage citizens in preserving the promise of a free and better life.
Senior Media Relations Manager
Spirit of America seeks a Senior Media Relations Manager who can help develop and execute a media relations strategy that advances Spirit of America’s priorities. The Senior Media Relations Manager will develop strong relationships with news reporters and editors, drive a comprehensive media strategy, provide tactical media relations support, and partner with Spirit of America experts, leadership, and program leads to identify relevant and timely opportunities. This role will actively support external relations and broader communications activities, including events, stakeholder engagement, and content development.
Senior Accountant
Spirit of America seeks a Senior Accountant who will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of Spirit of America’s financial operations and reporting. The Senior Accountant is responsible for key elements of the monthly close process, including the recording and reporting of contributions and the proper tracking of donor restrictions and releases. This role will support audit, compliance, and internal control requirements; oversee cash activity related to the timely deposit and recording of funds; and contribute to financial analysis, process improvements, and cross-functional financial initiatives.
Regional Director, Latin America & the Caribbean
Spirit of America seeks a Regional Director to lead our initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean in close cooperation and coordination with U.S. military, development, and diplomatic personnel. The Regional Director’s mission is to direct Spirit of America’s international operations in the region, utilizing private philanthropic funds to engage citizens in preserving the promise of a free and better life. The Regional Director will lead the design of a regional strategy to support U.S. national security interests in the region and will supervise a team of in the design and implementation of lines of effort to support the strategy.
Development Operations Coordinator
The Development Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Spirit of America’s fundraising efforts by ensuring strong operational discipline, data integrity, and administrative excellence across the Development team. This position supports core development operations, maintains accurate donor records, assists with gift processing and reporting, and enables the team to operate efficiently, compliantly, and at scale.
