Ash Conaty serves as the director of field operations at Spirit of America. He leads all aspects of forward deployment, field logistics, and operational execution across the organization’s international programs, ensuring regional teams receive maximum support in the pursuit of America’s national security, freedom, and improving global stability and safety.

Ash spent more than 20 years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army Special Operations and has extensive experience in conflict analysis and mitigation across numerous deployments to Afghanistan, Somalia, and Kenya. Ash most recently served in senior enlisted leadership roles at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School and the 91st Civil Affairs Battalion.

He holds a M.A. in history from Indiana University, a master’s degree of International Policy and Practice from George Washington University and is currently pursuing an executive master of business administration at Georgetown University. He speaks English and Modern Standard Arabic.
