Camila Alegria joined Spirit of America in November 2025 as Associate Program Manager for the International Communications team.

Camila has more than 10 years of communications experience in the nonprofit and international development sectors. Before joining Spirit of America, she served as senior communications specialist at Chemonics International, where she led multi-platform content creation and strategic international campaigns to highlight the company’s work across more than 60 countries. She previously worked in marketing for the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center and in an advertising agency in her hometown in Bolivia.

Camila holds a master’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications from Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
