Danielle Spinard
Senior Advisor, Latin America & the Caribbean
Danielle Spinard is a senior development and security leader with more than 20 years of federal service advancing U.S. national security objectives in complex operating environments. She has led conflict mitigation, stabilization, and civil-military operations across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, partnering closely with U.S. combatant commands, interagency counterparts, and host-nation stakeholders.
A former Foreign Service Officer, Danielle has served in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Colombia, Peru, and Washington, D.C., where she managed foreign policy initiatives and interagency efforts in support of U.S. national objectives. Her leadership spans diplomatic engagement, strategic planning, and on-the-ground program execution in fragile and post-conflict contexts.
As senior advisor for Latin America & the Caribbean, Danielle draws on more than 12 years of living and working in the region to guide the development and launch of Spirit of America’s Latin America strategy and portfolio, strengthening partnerships, and advancing regional priorities.
Danielle is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College (class of 2021) and holds a master’s degree from American University and dual bachelor’s degree in anthropology and Spanish from the University of New Hampshire.
