Erik Lindsjö is the Director of Human Resources at Spirit of America. He is responsible for developing and coordinating the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource team, as well as ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.

Erik has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining Spirit of America in 2023, he served as Human Resources and Administration Manager for the Migration Policy Institute. Prior to moving to the US, he served as a Reconnaissance Chief in the Swedish Artillery.

Erik holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the John Glenn School at the Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wittenberg University.
