Jessica Reitz Curtin

Philanthropic Advisor

Jessica Reitz Curtin is an international security and foreign policy leader with more than 20 years of experience in stabilization, crisis response, programming strategy and design. She serves as a philanthropic advisor at Spirit of America, where she aligns private philanthropy with U.S. troops and diplomats to defend freedom, strengthen security, and save lives.

Previously, Jessica led program learning and innovation initiatives for DT Global, a leading implementer of foreign assistance programs in over 100 countries. She spent 10 years at USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI), serving overseas in Afghanistan and Haiti before overseeing OTI’s Middle East and North Africa team and the global field programs division. Before joining USAID, Jessica led fundraising and development for human rights and progressive not-for-profit organizations.

Jessica holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.S. in psychology from Duke University.
