Jessica Reitz Curtin is an international security and foreign policy leader with more than 20 years of experience in stabilization, crisis response, programming strategy and design. She serves as Principal Gifts Officer at Spirit of America, where she aligns private philanthropy with US troops and diplomats to defend freedom, strengthen security, and save lives.

Previously, Jessica led program learning and innovation initiatives for DT Global, a leading implementer of foreign assistance programs in over 100 countries. She spent ten years at USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI), serving overseas in Afghanistan and Haiti before overseeing OTI’s Middle East and North Africa team and the global Field Programs Division. Before joining USAID, Jessica led fundraising and development for human rights and progressive not-for-profit organizations.

Jessica holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Duke University.
