Meeghan Mamola first joined Spirit of America in March 2020 as a Program Associate for the Latin America region; she currently serves as the Assistant Program Manager for Europe. Prior to Spirit of America, she worked at a nonprofit organization for two years supporting a refugee health program. There, she helped administer multiple health initiatives to meet the needs of newly arrived refugees and migrants and ensure their healthy start in the United States. Before that, she completed an internship with an Emergency Assistance Program at Freedom House, where she focused on civic space issues and supporting civil society organizations abroad. Meeghan attended George Mason University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in government and international politics with concentrations in legal studies and American government.
