Micki joined Spirit of America in May 2025 as a Senior Associate Program Manager for the Middle East and Central Asia.

Prior to joining Spirit of America, Micki spent three years largely focused on Syria – conducting human rights documentation at the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre and providing atmospherics research for a US military client while based in Erbil. Micki has had the privilege of working directly with local civil society organizations in the Middle East for several former employers, such as the National Endowment for Democracy.

Micki speaks Arabic and has spent nearly four years living and working in various countries in the region, including Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt.

Micki received a Master of Arts in Contemporary Arab Studies and a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
