Travis brings over a decade of expertise at the nexus of communications and international affairs.
Previously, he served as Communications Director for U.S. Representative Ami Bera (D-CA), Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Indo-Pacific. In this position, Travis played a pivotal role in helping establish Congressman Bera as a leading figure on foreign affairs matters. Travis also oversaw media relations efforts at the Atlantic Council, a leading international affairs think-tank in Washington, DC, where he helped achieve record growth in media engagements and coverage. His role included orchestrating major global events in Abu Dhabi, Berlin, Brussels, New York City, and Warsaw. Earlier in his career, Travis managed communications and congressional affairs at the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), an independent and bipartisan U.S. federal agency that monitors the right to freedom of religion or belief.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of South Carolina and completed a study abroad program in Seville, Spain.
