Zia Stanikzai is a seasoned IT and cybersecurity executive with over 16 years of experience leading global infrastructure, security, and compliance programs across complex, multinational environments. He specializes in aligning technology strategy with business objectives while ensuring robust cybersecurity posture and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Zia has successfully designed and led enterprise IT operations across the United States, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, and Africa. His expertise spans cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), Zero Trust architecture, identity and access management, and advanced security operations including SIEM, EDR, and threat detection.

In his previous leadership roles, including as IT and cybersecurity director and as an associate director, Zia has served as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, delivering strategic guidance on infrastructure modernization, compliance, and cyber resilience. He is also experienced in vendor management, federal cloud environments (GCC High), and supporting mission-driven organizations operating in challenging geopolitical regions.
