US troops and their partners in Syria have made significant headway in the fight to defeat the Islamic State, also referred to as ISIS, by successfully dismantling the terror organization. US Special Operations Forces in Syria continue to work with their local partners to counter terrorist activity and prevent ISIS from resurging amid regional instability. These efforts are paving the way for a more stable future in the Middle East.

One of the developing partnerships that Special Operations Forces have in Syria is with a specialized local counter-terrorism unit that helps root out and stop terrorists from operating in northeast Syria, where US troops are currently stationed. These operations protect American lives, but right now the local partners are operating without individual first aid kits. These partners should have critical life-saving supplies to survive when wounded, but US government funds aren’t available to meet this immediate need.
With your support, Spirit of America will be able to provide 250 first aid kits for US-partnered forces and help keep them alive.
