A proven track record of assistance

Working alongside our US military partners, Spirit of America has provided aid to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression since 2014. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022, we’ve delivered over $55 million in nonlethal assistance to the front lines in Ukraine including helmets, body armor, medical supplies, trucks, surveillance drones, communications gear, combat showers, and successful preparedness training courses. What Ukraine needs to win the war now

Spirit of America is raising urgently needed aid to help propel Ukraine to victory. We’re providing nonlethal frontline assistance to enable Ukrainian soldiers to move, hide, and medicate — as well as humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian youth affected by the war.

Frontline support includes force protection gear, secure communications gear, medical equipment, surveillance drones, and night vision goggles. These items enable Ukrainian soldiers to identify threats, provide protection to the frontlines, and help them stay alive on the battlefield. We prioritize equipment to elite units that have the greatest potential for asymmetric impact in defending Ukraine and stopping Russian aggression.

Spirit of America has also funded the repair of military trucks. These vehicles are needed to evacuate injured personnel, move troops, move equipment, and bring food and supplies to Ukrainian forces.

To address the devastating impact of Russia’s war on Ukrainian students, their schools, and their communities, Spirit of America has developed and funded a new program, UActive, in partnership with the Ukrainian nonprofit savED. Through the UActive program, high school students in formerly occupied territories are empowered to rebuild important spaces for themselves and their communities. The pilot program involved five war-affected schools from Kyiv and Chernihiv. In the fall of 2023, the program expanded to hard-hit Ukrainian communities closer to the front lines, as about a hundred Mykolaiv schoolchildren became UActive program participants.
