Dear supporters, Two weeks ago, we emailed you to tell you about an important project we’re supporting in Syria. This effort will help over 11,000 children in communities recently liberated from ISIS go back to school. It will significantly improve the students’ futures, make US troops safer, and help prevent further conflict in the fragile region. Our supporters have stepped up in a big way. Thanks to you, we already raised $58,415 of our goal, and we implemented the first phase of the project. Students at the first grade school just received backpacks, notebooks, pencils, desks, and whiteboards from the US team on the ground. The children of this region, located just north of the ISIS capital of Raqqa, have suffered greatly at the hands of jihadists. Not only were they denied a proper education, but they were exposed to radical ISIS ideology. This project helps counter that. More than 700 students and their teachers benefitted from phase one. With the continued support of our giving community, we will be able to give 10,000 more children a fresh start at a safe, functional school. To the 56 supporters who have already given to this project, we cannot thank you enough. It is your support that enables us to do the important work that embodies the Spirit of America mission. Thank you for being a part of our team. If you haven’t made a donation yet, please consider helping now. Best, Zack Bazzi Project Manager, Middle East
