SoA Launches FM Radio to Support Ukrainian Troops on Front Lines

Greetings from Ukraine, Spirit of America is supporting the first FM radio station for Ukrainian soldiers serving on the front lines against Russian-backed fighters in Ukraine. You can support this project here. The radio station plan was developed in partnership with US troops and diplomats in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. We announced the project at a press briefing in Ukraine’s capital today.

Ukrainian soldiers are locked in a struggle against the Russian-backed fighters to secure and stabilize their country. They operate in an information vacuum in harsh conditions on the front lines, receiving only the misinformation and propaganda delivered by the enemy. The SoA-supported radio station will provide valuable information and entertainment focused on the needs of the soldiers. This will improve morale and make them more effective. You can help here. We just returned from the frontlines yesterday, where we witnessed these conditions firsthand. fm_radioUKR The Ukrainian commander we met with above emphasized just how important the radio station will be:
Radio is our peaceful weapon. Frontline soldiers are eager to feel that the Ukrainian people are united in a common effort. Every day, every night, wherever we fight, the Army will be even stronger if we hear voices of support.
We met with other soldiers on the front lines. They all confirmed the need for the radio station.

The Ukrainian people are America’s partners in pursuit of peace and democracy. They share our values and dreams. We owe it to them to support their courageous efforts to end conflict in their country. Join us in helping them here. This is what one Spirit of America donor says about supporting the US mission in Ukraine:
I’m proud to join other Americans in supporting the people of Ukraine in defeating this invasion and determining the future of their country. It is their right to do so and that is what Americans have always believed.
With your support, the radio station can be launched by March 1st. Please give here. Thank you and happy holidays! Jim Hake and Isaac Eagan
