Gabe Lamois Joins the SoA Team
Hi, my name is Gabe LaMois, and I’m the newest member of the Spirit of America team. I joined Spirit of America in early June of 2016 following nearly a decade of service in the Army as an Infantry and Special Forces officer.
Most recently I served in 5th Special Forces Group where I commanded a Special Forces Operational Detachment – Alpha. During my time at 5th Group, I worked throughout the Middle East and on one occasion I had the opportunity to meet and work with Isaac and Chris Clary. While I was personally impressed by their drive and outside the box thinking, what impressed me the most was the incredibly impactful effects their projects were having for USG personnel and their missions. Needless to say, when I made the choice to leave the military, Spirit of America was my first stop.
And now begins the fun! After what will undoubtedly be a whirlwind and jet-lagged training and introductory tour following in the wake our intrepid globetrotting leader, Isaac, I will join two of Spirit of America’s current field reps to help meet the exponentially increasing demand from our USG partners. Specifically, I will join Zack in covering the Middle East and assist Chris Van Johnson by taking North Africa off his plate. I’m incredibly excited to be aboard and I am chomping at the bit to hit the road. I look forward to keeping everyone posted on my future travels.
De Oppresso Liber,
Gabe
