Help US troops support Syrian earthquake victims
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6 – and the aftershocks that followed – has caused widespread damage and killed more than 36,000 people. Hundreds of thousands have been left homeless.
In Syria, where millions are already displaced by civil war, providing international aid is exceptionally difficult due to sanctions, lack of security, and limited access. But Spirit of America’s relationship with the US military allows us to reach places that are often inaccessible to support those in dire need.
Working with the US Special Operations Command in Syria and local partners, Spirit of America is organizing a plan to provide urgently needed humanitarian aid to Syrian families victimized by the disaster. The aid, which includes 750 blankets, 800 winter coats, and food supplies, will be transported as quickly as possible to underserved areas.
With your support, Spirit of America can meet the urgent needs of the men, women, and children who have survived this devastating event. Donate now and help us deliver American goodwill to earthquake victims.
