Russia started a war in Ukraine. More than 10,000 people have died and the war still rages on. Ukrainian troops and civilians continue to suffer. American troops and diplomats are helping Ukraine defend itself, protect the innocent, and stop Russia’s aggression.

Spirit of America has been on the ground helping in Ukraine since August 2015. Everything we do is in response to critical needs identified by America’s troops and diplomats in Ukraine.

Here are four ways to get involved and do what is needed:

1. Support ArmyFM – a radio station on the front lines that provides information and entertainment to Ukrainian troops who are suffering from a barrage of Russian propaganda
2. Restore a music school on the front lines – a key institution that serves as both a bomb shelter and a beacon of hope for the local community
3. Provide desperately needed medical supplies to help Ukrainian soldiers who are being trained by the US Army. These supplies will help the soldiers survive Russian-backed attacks
4. Provide basic equipment (vehicles, communications gear) to help Ukrainian teams provide counseling, support, and therapy to troops affected by combat
