Greetings, Spirit of America’s work was featured in the most recent issue of Special Warfare Magazine, the publication produced by US Army Special Operations Command. Read the article here. SoA has worked alongside US Army Special Operations (SOF) teams around the world. These small teams operate in the world’s toughest places, confronting instability and extremism and preventing conflict. Our mission – providing rapid, agile private assistance in response to critical local needs identified by deployed US personnel – is a particularly good fit with the efforts of these men and women. This issue focuses on the work being done by Army SOF in Eastern Europe, with mention of SoA initiatives in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Georgia (the focus of the spotlight). As the magazine states: Our European partners are on the frontline and are facing very real threats from destabilization caused by Russian aggression, the surge in violent extremism, as well as the flow of foreign fighters and refugees fleeing the war in Syria. As the security challenges throughout Europe and the world continue to change, Army SOF will continue to build its relationships with our partner forces around the world to ensure the security of our nation.
