Support SoA in the 2017 Combined Federal Campaign
Dear supporters,
As many of you know, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is an annual opportunity for federal employees (civilian, military, etc.) to support eligible nonprofits. The campaign runs from Sept. 1 to Dec. 15 each year.
Spirit of America is a CFC approved charity (#52009). Any federal employee may contribute to SoA through the CFC. If you are a federal employee, or know someone who is, we hope you’ll take this opportunity to offer your support. Here are a few of our recent projects.
US Africa Command (AFRICOM): We helped the US military counter terrorist financing by protecting Mali’s endangered desert elephant herd.
US Central Command (CENTCOM): Spirit of America is working with US forces in northeast Syria to help children who survived ISIS get back to school.
US European Command (EUCOM): In support of the US Embassy and US Army Europe, SoA supported the launch of Army FM, a radio station to counter Russian propaganda in Ukraine.
US Pacific Command (PACOM): In support of the US Marines, Spirit of America provided critical medical supplies and equipment to help treat civilians and soldiers injured by ISIS.
US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM): SoA supported our US Army partners’ efforts to counter Drug Trafficking Organizations through a campaign to vaccinate and treat the livestock of more than 20 communities in Guatemala.
In addition to being a CFC approved charity, we have earned GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency. Please support us as we support our troops and diplomats in their missions.
As always, thank you,
The Spirit of America Team
Spirit of America is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit working alongside US servicemembers and diplomats to improve their safety and success. In 2018, Congress recognized us as a partner in “supporting the missions of deployed United States personnel around the world.”
