The Taiwan briefing featuring Enoch Wu, founder and executive director of Forward Alliance, and Joshua Brandon, Asia-Pacific director for Spirit of America, has been postponed.

A powerful typhoon is approaching Taiwan. Already two people in Taiwan have been killed by the storm, at least 70 have been injured, and thousands have been forced to evacuate the island’s southwestern region. 

While Enoch and our partners at Forward Alliance are safe, they are focused on helping their fellow citizens during this crisis. This is exactly what Forward Alliance’s training has prepared them and thousands of civilian volunteers for: to save lives and protect their communities in an emergency.
