The difference you make

The Spirit of America team is grateful for your support and the profound difference you make to our troops and the lives of people around the world.
Because of you, two weeks ago a healthy baby in a village in Africa was brought into the world, another child’s life was saved, and American soldiers demonstrated that they are a force for good.
Our Africa program manager, Ben York, was in Benin — a coastal West African country. He was there to help US Special Operations Forces and Beninese military doctors treat more than 2,100 rural community members at temporary medical field clinics. Spirit of America provided the supplies that made the medical care possible.

The supplies we provided helped a woman give birth to a healthy baby at the clinic. Later the same day the supplies helped a child whose fever from malaria was so high he was comatose. The US and Beninese doctors rushed to get him an IV and bring his fever down. They saved his life.
Some days, our work is both lifesaving and life giving.
We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for being part of our mission and helping our troops preserve the promise of a free and better life.
