Saving Lives. Building Peace.

Our field team of former Special Operators and veterans know the challenges our troops face. They provide assistance in more than 80 countries. Spirit of America projects create trusted relationships that build security and ultimately save American and local lives.

Why Spirit of America?

Spirit of America’s Jim Hake shares how the growth of private action for public good evolved from Afghanistan in 2003 to more than 80 countries today.

Meet Our Team

As US combat and Special Operations veterans, Spirit of America Project Managers operated in the world’s toughest places and continue to serve with distinction as embedded problem solvers. Join America’s best.

Mission Critical

Our projects matter. We helped prevent a war in Niger, were the first non-profit on the ground with US Special Forces in Syria, and launched a Ukrainian radio station to counter Russian propaganda.

Human Connections

Ceremonial swords. Winter boots. Landmine detectors. Even dirt bikes and a gift of musical instruments to an Iraqi village stripped of music by Islamic extremists. Our projects save lives, build stability, and create hope.
