9/11 Remembered with FDNY

Greetings, All of us at Spirit of America remember those who died in the attacks of 9/11, the men and women who died trying to save them, and all their families and loved ones. Three years ago on 9/11 at Ground Zero, I came upon a Fire Department of New York (FDNY) 9/11 Memorial. The FDNY bagpipe band — the Emerald Society Pipes and Drums – performed. It was very moving. Here are three videos: • Army song, America the beautiful, Marines’ HymnAmazing GraceClosing song, beautiful lights
After 9/11, like everyone reading this, I wanted to help. That is what led me to start Spirit of America. Here is that story. Thank you for joining with us to help those on the front lines of securing the freedoms and ideals we hold so dear. Jim Hake and the Spirit of America team
Spirit of America is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit working alongside US servicemembers and diplomats to improve their safety and success. In 2018, Congress recognized us as a partner in “supporting the missions of deployed United States personnel around the world.”
