Webinar: A conversation on national security with H.R. McMaster

Spirit of America welcomed former US National Security Advisor Lt. General (Ret.) H.R. McMaster for a robust discussion on today’s pressing national security issues. With our founder and CEO Jim Hake, McMaster offered expert insights and analysis on today’s global threats, how the US is and should be addressing them, and where private citizen support is needed most.
Upon graduation from the US Military Academy in 1984, McMaster served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army for 34 years. He has extensive experience leading soldiers and organizations in wartime and served overseas as advisor to the most senior commanders in the Middle East, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He retired in June 2018 after serving as the 25th Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. Currently McMaster is the Fouad and Michelle Ajami Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He is also the Bernard and Susan Liautaud Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute and lecturer at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
