NPR Spotlights SoA’s Project to Repair Music School in Ukraine
Spirit of America’s project to repair a war-ravaged music school in Ukraine was featured on NPR’s Morning Edition today. During the worst of the fighting between Russian-backed separatists and the Ukrainian military, the music school served as a bomb shelter, providing refuge in its basement for some two dozen men, women and children as shells impacted overhead. Now, class is back in session.
