A leader and patriot joins Spirit of America
Greetings,
I am delighted to announce Wayne Zinn has joined Spirit of America as Chief of International Operations. Wayne is not new to Spirit of America. He has served on our Advisory Board since 2017. He is an exceptionally talented executive with a lifelong commitment to service and a deep connection to Spirit of America’s mission.
Wayne served in the Marine Corps for 20 years, including with Special Operations. He was one of the first operational Marines assigned to a Navy SEAL team. After retiring from the military, Wayne has built and grown startup ventures, technology firms, and international charities. As Chief Operating Officer of Operation Smile, he managed day-to-day operations in more than 60 countries and for 41 affiliated organizations while increasing the medical nonprofit’s revenue by nearly 40%. Most recently he co-founded an agricultural technology startup that will create jobs and provide healthy food through higher education, corporate, and nonprofit partnerships. You can read more about Wayne here.
I have known Wayne for several years. He is a humble leader, a mission-driven patriot, and a great mentor and coach. With Wayne leading our international field operations, Spirit of America will realize our full potential and have an even greater impact on America’s security, values, and leadership in the world.
Wayne told me, “There is no better time to join Spirit of America. I’ve seen the need for Spirit of America as a Marine, as a citizen, and as a philanthropist. Given the unrest in the world and within our own society, Spirit of America is a solution that can bring people together to serve our country and those in need around the world. I’m passionate about the mission. I am ready to serve alongside you.”
Please join me in welcoming Wayne to the team. You’ll be hearing from him in the near future.
All the best,
Jim Hake
