US Marine Corps & Spirit of America

Greetings,

Since 2003, Spirit of America has completed over 110 projects alongside US Marines. These projects have ranged from providing school supplies to Afghan children who had been denied the opportunity to attend school under Taliban rule, to helping Marines build a water pump in a rural village liberated from ISIS in the southern Philippines.

This year, Spirit of America was a proud Charity Partner for the 44th annual Marine Corps Marathon. Spirit of America had 5 members of the team run and complete the marathon last Sunday: Terrell Chandler, Chris Clary, Isaac Eagan, Colleen Denny, and Rob Villar. We were also fortunate to have 5 more runners sign up to run and raise funds for Spirit of America, including the 2019 Marine of the Year, Master Sgt. Jarad Stout. The team raised $7,381 which will go directly towards supporting the safety and success of US troops and diplomats deployed abroad. Thank you to all who supported our runners (P.S., it’s not too late to donate to their efforts)!

The Spirit of America marathon team – Oorah!

Isaac Eagan, Spirit of America’s Chief Operating Officer, runs past the United States Capitol at mile 18.

We are honored to have partnered with the Marine Corps Marathon and run with the Marines. Semper Fidelis! Sincerely, The Team at Spirit of America
