Green Beret vet finds purpose through Spirit of America
Dear supporters,
I am extremely proud of our field team at Spirit of America. Exceptional men and women, this group of combat veterans has devoted their lives to service. Each of them has taken the commitment they embodied while serving our country in uniform, and directed it into a new way of supporting the mission through Spirit of America.
Chris Clary is part of our veteran field team. He deployed three times to Afghanistan as a Green Beret. He’s been with Spirit of America for four years. He is an outstanding contributor. Chris wrote about his transition from Special Forces to civilian life. It is excellent.
For those who have served in the military, the transition to civilian life can be challenging, I am happy Chris, and each member of our field operations team, has found purpose and meaning in being part of Spirit of America’s mission. These veterans embody the very spirit of America.
Please read Chris’ story here.
All the best,
Jim Hake
